Checking your admission status is the next action to take after writing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Post-UTME.
With this service you can request for your admission status to be checked on JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).
How It Works
Follow the steps below to use this service:
- Select
"Check JAMB Admission Status" under JAMB Services section from our
website homepage, select number of candidates and Click the
"Proceed" button to make payment for this service
- Upon successful payment, select a record on the list of JAMB Services orders and click the "Submit Entry" button.
- Enter candidate's Full name, JAMB registration number, JAMB year and submit form
- Wait for entry to be processed, usually within 15 minutes but could take longer depending on the number of jobs on queue
- Once submission is processed, you will receive a confirmation email
- You can then download screenshot showing your current admission status

What Should I Do If My JAMB Admission Status Shows "Not Yet Admitted".
Verify if your O’level results are uploaded on the JAMB portal or not, as failure to upload your O’level result can affect your JAMB admission status. If it is not, kindly place order for O'level upload on buycard.ng. NOTE: Admission cannot be processed for candidates whose O’level status is ‘Awaiting Result’.
What are the admission status options available on JAMB CAPS?
The possible admission statuses on JAMB CAPS are: Not Admitted, Proposed, Recommended, Approved and Accepted.
